It's been a while, hasn't it?

I had had 3 inspirations for poems today...so I think I'll post them...yeah...same warnings apply...

Darkness
The sun held high,
As it spread light on the world.
Yet,
No one can explain why,
My heart is so dark,
So cold...
It was so long ago,
That I had lost all ability,
To feel and to love.
It was so long ago,
That you had broken my heart,
And tossed it aside,
So ruthlessly,
So unhesitantly.
There was no explanation
Of any sort,
You just left,
And made my heart engulf in darkness...
