I'm not really a fan of announcing how much I've screwed (fine I whine), but here goes:
I SCREWED UP TERM 1'S MSG!

Alright, here's a breakdown:

English [ASSUMPTION] - A1
IS - A1
LSS - A1
Lit - A2
IH [ASSUMPTION] - A2
Geog - 19.5/30 - B4
History - 15/20 - A1
Chinese - B3 (quite amazing, if you ask me)
Math - C6 (though it was E8, but Ms Wun was nice enough...)
===========================================
Total Points: 16
Lowest Possible MSG: 2.29

I screwed. Seriously. But hopefully I can get less than 2 next term.
WORK HARD, 自强不息! :D

On a happier note, I got selected for Founder's Day Prize Giving. Not sure what I won though. Perhaps English...:D

Why, it's been a while. And life isn't getting anymore forgiving either.
Nevertheless, I still changed my blogskin, and decided for a more peaceful and tranquil one...

That's totally random. Sorry, was feeling a little spastic :).
Need to do SB '08 stuff now...dammit.

Mass run tomorrow. I'll die.

Hmm...just came back from a crazy day today, and I'll tell you why. You can judge for yourself later, but for now, please do read on. I'm saying that 'cause I find that I myself am suffering from insomnia by reading my blog...XD

Alright, let's start with History Test first. It was cool. The essay question totally coincided with the lest minute revision I was doing on the Treaty of Versailles (hint hint, for those who read my blog, get taught by Alvin Tan and has not taken the test)! I was doing more of a C&C question (Do you think the Treaty of Versailles was too harsh on Germany?), but the question came out: Why was the Treaty of Versailles unfair to Germany? I tell you, it's God working in our midst (Amen :D).

Maths...let's not talk about it. I'm as sad that I may not even get A2 as it is. It's an insane paper I tell you. Quadratic equation line graphs?! What the hell man...

And finally, it was Sec 4 inter-consortia debate today. Ajudicated the one between iSpark and ProEd (dammit. Kala was their 'coach') with Yi Chen, and some teacher. Yeah, iSpark and ProEd, which means:
iSpark - Benjy and Shawn
ProEd - Cheng Aik
Oh man, it was damn irritating. Kala and CCA on one side, Benjy and Shawn on the other. Amazing I gave it to iSpark in the end. Not because they were good (alright, Benjy was), but 'cos ProEd sucked more. That's a big blow, but it's the truth. Speaking of which, where IS Qing Yun anyway?IF he was on the team, ProEd could've just won!
By the way, the motion read:
THBT Natural Apathy is the Greatest Threat to Singapore's Future Security.
Yeah, Prop 1 came up with some funky opening of a mad scientist, and almost couldn't make half a page of notes for 2nd Opp. Oh man :)

Crazy day, and Lit's up tomorrow. Dulce et decorum est, pro patria mori guys, dulce et decorum est, pro patria mori.

Today's sermon was way cool. Pastor Prince was continually going, "This sermon is for the selected few only."
The way he said it though, it felt for everyone.
Sigh...how I wish to be able to pray in tongues, and understand the parables Jesus said in the Bible. The day will come, but for now, I'll just put my faith in the Lord. :)

Addicted to a few songs, so I'll just post some chorus up. The first is one of the songs from Church, and I think it's called When the Oceans Rise.

When the Oceans Rise
When the oceans rise
and thunders roar
I will soar with You
above the storm
Father you are King over the flood
I will be still
know You are God

Then We have Rihanna's Unfaithful!

Unfaithful
I dun wanna do this anymore
I dun wanna be the reason why
Every time I walk at the door
I see him die a little more inside
I dun wanna hurt him anymore
I dun wanna take away his life
I dun wanna be
A murderer

Finally Rihanna's (again) Shut Up and Drive!

Shut Up and Drive
So if you feel me let me know, know, know
Come on now what you waitin' for, for, for
My engine's ready to explode, explode, explode
So start me up and watch me go, go, go
Get you where you wanna go if you know what I mean
Got a ride that's smoother than a limousine
Can you handle the curves? Can you run all the lights?
If you can baby boy then we can go all night
Goes from 0 to 60 in three point five
Baby you got the keys
Now shut up and drive(Drive, drive, drive)
Shut up and drive(Drive, drive, drive)

Yay! :) All so cool! :)

Hmm...me thinks that me will blog in speech form! Me will now commence the 'speech' post.
=====================================================================
Ladies and gentlemen, I have two main points for my speech today:
1. JGs Debate Competition today
2. ANGLES coaching

So, allow me to move on to my first main point, that of the JGs Debate Competition today.
The motion was THBT the widespread availability of the Internet has done more harm than good.

===============================================================

Bah, it doesn't work out. Anyway, we won JGs against CHIJ Katong COnvent today! We were Prop, and they were Opp. We won, but KC 3rd speaker got best speaker..:(
Never mind, best speaker is only a bonus! :D

ANGLES coaching...none of the 1G got in...disappointing. I hope An Jian will win...An Li's brother. I'm coaching him...:)

ANGLES selection round was today. And I'm not sure ProEd will recieve that prestigious trophy this year. The class I was in charge of was 1G, and the first few were so URGH! Irritating. They failed. Damn. 1G, you need to retain the glory!

Not to mention that I've not been posting often...tests coming up.

Accompanying Li Ki and Edward, I've taken the Beliefnet quiz.
Here's my results:

Your Results:
The top score on the list below represents the faith that Belief-O-Matic, in its less than infinite wisdom, thinks most closely matches your beliefs. However, even a score of 100% does not mean that your views are all shared by this faith, or vice versa.Belief-O-Matic then lists another 26 faiths in order of how much they have in common with your professed beliefs. The higher a faith appears on this list, the more closely it aligns with your thinking. How did the Belief-O-Matic do? Discuss your results on our message boards.

time: 5:19 PM

Uh...I was thinking...can I kill myself with these sort of chemicals? It's real random, seeing that Chem test is coming up next Friday, and I was studying for it...or rather, reading all the chemical formulae...

So, can someone tell me if I can kill myself with:
1) sodium hydroxide
2) copper (II) sulphate
3) aqueous ammonia
4) de-ionized water
5) hydrochloric acid
6) copper carbonate
7) barium sulphate
8) calcium carbonate

Tell me please!
And speaking of which, do NOT  go to Sentosa on the first day of Lunar New Year to look at all the flower show. You'll get into a stampede.

Seriously.

title: Le Grand Feast
time: 10:08 PM

Alright, so I went to KHS after all the hoo-ha and celebrations (which I convieniently slept through) in Hwa Chong with Guan Koi, Jeremy, Lionel and Yu Yang.

Yeah, we met the other 6/2 '06 people, and initially we wanted to visit Mrs Tan, but she left EARLY!! WHY?!

Oh, and KHS's system has changed. Now they call classes like those in the Convent/Girls schools. Integrity, Humility, Respect, Responsibility. Seriously, I'm glad I graduated in 2006. Then, we (being Eric, Yu Yang, Lionel, Amanda, Rachel, Wen Yi, Wei Shan and me) went to Plaza Sing, with the initial mindset to watch either CJ7 or Ah Long Pte Ltd. But since all the timings never suited us, we ended up watching Le Grand Chef. And we didn't have lunch before watching that, so you may guess what our reaction was.

Hungry, EXCEPT for the skinning of the blowfish.

Disgusting.

Yeah, it's around Chinese New Year soon, and so many movies are coming out, but only o CNY itself or after it.

It's so irritating to know that for 6/2 '06 class reunion tomorrow, we can't really go watch any movie EXCEPT the existing ones, which are mostly NC16 and above. I hate those movie directors! Irritating people who don't care for the growing population of the young people. Hate them. Hmph.

title: New Blog...?
time: 7:12 PM

Okay. I was thinking. Just thinking. Of a new blog. A blog to hold all the stuff that I think of. As in all the drafts, ideas, and whatnots on that blog. Yeah..that sounds nice. But then, I don't think I'll be able to possibly even try and maintain that blog. Nor do I think that anyone will go and read them anyway. So perhaps not. But maybe I should! I'll put up a poll...PLEASE DO IT IF YOU COME AND VISIT MY BLOG! :D Thanks.

Deviating from that, let's talk about the whole of today for a little. Just a little, which will basically be the part where our class now officially becomes a brothel. Yeah, you didn't read it wrong, neither did I type it wrong. Our class is now a BROTHEL.

Okay, let me explain it a little, in case you get the wrong idea. Alright, so Zhao Yong brougt crepe paper in today to decorate the classroom. Red and orange crepe paper, for that matter. And since we had no where else to put it (except for the teacher's table), they decided to cover the back lights with RED crepe paper. And as you know, the light now becomes sorta red. And since all those Taiwanese shows show  that brothels have red lights thingums, so, he cleverly called it a brothel!

And just now as I left, Lum Yi and Zhao Yong were still decorating all the lights...and we'll have a brothel in school! First of its kind lehhs. Just imagine, the slogan at the front door of our class: "Welcome to the HCI 2G Brothel".

Unbelievable.

title: Juniors
time: 11:30 PM

It's pretty hard to believe that just a year ago, we were the juniors. Now, in comes the new batch of juniors, all eager and ready to learn.

And usually, I would pride myself as being able to remember the names of all the juniors. I've disappointed myself this time, and in between my walloping of self-pity, I've got to remember that no one is perfect. Here's the number of names I can remember so far:
1) Luey Chi --> I can't miss this. Luey Chun's brother yo!
2) Jek Jin
3) Eddy --> Don't confuse this with Edward. Yes, we call him [Edward] Eddy, but it's going to be difficult now...
4) Tommy --> And he remembers my name! Spooky.
5) Jia Kai --> No way I can miss this too. I SMS-ed him. Oh well.

Ouch. That's a hard blow to both my memory, my record and my ego.
Ah well, I keep ha ving this idea for a poem in my head, so I'll just try and post it now, and if it suddenly stops half-way, I'll just finish it up the next post.

The 'Volcano'
the volcano lay
on a barren land
nothing lived
on that land
nothing sprouted
on that land
there was
no water
there were
no trees
that barren land

the volcano
that threatened
that land
smoke
never came out
blocked
was the
volcano's crater
blocked
by rocks
made of oil

then, as if
by fate
a large force
pushed
the volcano
the rocks
flew out
magma
came
flowing out

'damn!'
he said.
'that
damn
...
PIMPLE!'

Heh. I finished it, oh well.
