Alright, I really cannot wait and prolong this any further. I need to fucking post! Before that, however, let me just clarify that my stupid tagboard isn't working for me (talk about AP), so I'll just reply tags here...for now. Fuck that stupid tagboard:
Karen - Sorry lorrs.
Nicholas - Fine fine. Once per year can?
Damn. No inspiration now. Tomorrow!

Now, as the clock almost strikes one, marking the first hour of 25th December, Christmas, well, I've decided to put up at least a semi-decent post.
So, let's move on then. Hmm...what should I post? Ah damn. Not now, especially when some idiots' voices are still in my mind. Well, 29th then. I'll be sure to post up SOO...in detail.

At least the buddy guides are out! And the Survival Guide is confirmed! (We skipped the hierarchy but...) Did you see it (uh duh no)? It's damn cool! Way better than this year's!
I promise a comprehensive and semi-decent post once orientation is over. Meanwhile, if anyone can fulfill this, here's my Christmas wishlist:
1) Angela Chang's new album! 2) Show Luo's new album! 3) Rainie Yang's new album! 4) New Creation Church's Christmas album! <3 5) Mei Xin's new album (Shun Jian)! 6) An iPod Touch! <3
It's extravagant I realise, but hey, who says I can't wish?

The World is a Poison
The world is a poisonous place People in here backstab you They talk about you Behind you're very backs And yet still puts on An innocent front When looking you in the eye.
How 'bout a cup of coffee monsieur? I'll be sure to lace it With poison, lethal ones Or maybe a cheesecake madmoiselle? I assure you The best toxins Are already injected into them.
The world is a poisonous place Trust no one No one at all. Care for yourself? Then do as I say I beseech you Trust only yourself. For the world Is a poisonous place.
How about a cup of Earl Grey monsieur? I'll just lace it with poison. Or maybe a shot of martini Madmoiselle? I'll just shoot A pinch of mercury chloride Into them.

Yeah, sorry for all those not-so-semi-decent posts. I just don't have time to fill them all in. Claire, that post has to wait. At least until after 28th Dec. Hopefully the sec ones appreciates it. Haha maybe the spar is just another excuse is see hwachong’s cute sec ones! They have the cutest sec ones ever." - Claire Tan
Well...yeah. So, we're (Sec 1s...or whatever is remaining of our Sec 1 days...of English Debate Society in Hwa Chong Institution) sparring with the St Nicks girls...the Sec 1 girls.

Alright, so Claire asked me to post about BP that took place today. Fine. I'll do it then. You owe me that post for saying that **** girls are more squealy than you St Nicks girls. Period.
Alright, so at DA Camp today, we attempted another style of debating: British Parliamentary Style. I got paired up with Claire Tan, the captian of St Nicks. At first we were doing like Opening Opposition. Then, we changed later to become Closing Proposition, which meant that our speaker positions are either Member of Government and Government Whip. At first, we were going tentative, in the end I was GW, and Claire MG. Blog more about this next time.

Lord of the Flies play is coming out! Way cool.
I like plays, but have never attended one before. I hate that. Screw it. I'm going to watch the play by hook or by crook. But will Kala ask us to go? After all... "Oh boys, when you come back next year, I will test you on The Lord of the Flies on your first Literature lesson okay? After all, I am confirm going to be your Literature teacher next year. And I also appealed to be your English teacher...want to spend more time with this class...okay?" Yeah okay. NOT. But. the. freaking. book. has. still not. been. delivered. to. the. school. bookshop. yet. Damn.
Tomorrow's the DA Camp. And 13 more days to SOO. And Programmes is the only one confirmed. Shit.

15 days... Correction. 14 days and 2 hours and 55 minutes left till Orientation, and the theme is STILL NOT OUT! Damn...this is a perilous situation the whole SOO '08 OT is in. With nothing confirmed (apparently Progs Proposal 2.4 is in order...), we're in deep shit. Period. Not that it's going to get any better. Fine, so it is. Logs (Logistics) are going to buy all the required stuff tomorrow... D&P (Design and Publications) are working on the Survival Guide. And...Programmes...are just helping any way they can (I hope...)
Alright, sorry for the rambling about SOO. It's just...madness. Oh-kay...so where was I? Oh yes...Thursday will be the Debate Association Camp! That is so way cool. If you don't know why, screw you. Fine, sorry, just felt like it :p
Ah...back to the themes I guess... Screw SOO '08.

Hmm...maybe I should take a step back from my usual style of posting, and do a little reflection for the year, which most probably will end up with the same style anyway. Habits are diehard. Damn.
Friend of the Year: God this is hard to decide. There are so many good friends out there, but hey, if I got to choose one, here's the person: Eric. Let's just cut to the chase. We've known each other for around 5 years now - since Primary 3. Undoubtedly, the friendship's real strong. Granted that he can be a little irritating at times, but hey, he's still here and stuck by my side through thick and thin. Go figure...damn.
Song of the Year: Let's just clarify one thing: Predominantly, I listen to Chinese songs, but I hate Chinese. Settled? Good. So, moving on (see, I told you I would revert to the old posting style. Damn.), I have 2 songs in mind, 'cos I can't decide: F.I.R's 月牙弯 Angela 张韶涵''s 不想懂得 So, if you don't listen to that many Chinese songs, fine. But they're real good. Darn.
Movie of the Year: Still haven't watched Enchanted, but I think the decision is made ether ways: HERO. Not spoiling too much, just watch it. Inspiring if you want to be a lawyer in the future. That also makes you think about whether the law is truly as upright as you think, and whether prosecutors are in fact that irritating. With a good twist to it, that's got to be the movie of the year. ___________________________________________________________________
Well, now that it's over, let's rejoice and...mourn. Rejoice that Programmes Proposal 2.2 will pass through as Sec One Orientation programmes...OFFICIALLY! After hard work put in by the Programmes Team, it's finally paid off! And mourn...'cos we lost to RI in VJCs by a 5-2 split. Though I wasn't there to watch (as I was at the last minute SOO meeting, where Prog Proposal 2.1 was only at most 10% slammed...therefore 2.2 is confirmed)...but ah shucks. There's a poem I want to post, but next time then... So, let's do a music quiz!
Rules: If your life were a movie, what soundtrack would it have? So, here’s how it works: 1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player etc) 2. Put it on shuffle and press play. 3. For every question, type the song that’s playing 4. When you go to a new question, press the next button.
So, let's get started.
1. OPENING CREDITS: In You I Live - Daniel Chong Opening Credits...In You I Live. I live for the show, In You I Live (Sorry God). 2. WAKING UP: 绿光 - Stefanie Sun Waking Up to a green light...uh oh. Watch out for the car! 3. FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: 爱情女神 - Jocie Guo Mei Mei First Day of School with a love goddess?! Gosh, shouldn't Falling in Love and First Day of School songs change...? 4. FALLING IN LOVE: I Don't Dance - High School Musical 2 (Debby) I don't dance when I Fall in Love. No way. 5. FIGHT SONG: You're the Same - Ronnie Liew Fight Song...I'm still the same even when I fight! =.='' 6. BREAKING UP: Humuhumunukunukua'Pua'a -HSM2 (Sharpay and Ryan) Breaking Up...Humuhumu what? Break that word up, then I'll understand... 7. PROM: Work This Out - HSM 2 Cast Prom's gotta be perfect right? So Work This Out! 8. LIFE: 一千年以前 - JJ Lin Life one thousand years ago...it's just a music, no vocals so don't be surprised you haven't heard of it before...ROFL. 9. MENTAL BREAKDOWN: 从台北到北京 - Sing Shi Xin Hui Mental Breakdown...definitely. Who would be that insane to go from Taipei to Beijing just for the fun of it? 10. DRIVING: 依然是朋友 - Yu Heng Driving...nothing to say... 11. FLASHBACK: 超快感 - Stefanie Sun Flashback...having a good time, and it gives you a high just thinking about it! :D 12. WEDDING: You Are My Lord - Alicia Lee-Cheong & Ronnie Liew Wedding...having a marriage in church? 13. BIRTH OF CHILD: Din Din Wo (Little Child) - Habib Koite & Bamada Birth of Child...Din Din Wo...suits it perfectly. 14. FINAL BATTLE: Shalom O Israel - Adeline Gan Final Battle's song real good. I like the song, it's real touching. 15. DEATH SCENE: Shadow of the Day - Linkin Park Death Scene's like, real fitting. Fine, I'm a Narcissist okay? When I die, the day will have a shadow...LOL. Hahaz. 16. FUNERAL SONG: I See Grace - Alicia Lee-Cheong I See Grace. I will go to Him when I die. What a fitting Funeral Song! 17. END CREDITS: Despertar - Aisha Duo Gosh, the End Credits sound sad. It's the kind of sample music, so I've never listened to it.
That's my life in a soundtrack.

Rabid Alternative Physical Exercises... Otherwise known as R.A.P.E, has well, descended upon EDS. Not that it's a bad thing, 'cos it's like lightsaber combat...using poles. And since there are 7 forms of lightsaber combat, I'll just post the Forms up here...'cos I got nothing to do :D. ___________________________________________________________________
Form I Shii-Cho The most basic type of lightsaber combat. Form II Makashi (my favourite, though my kind of Makashi looks something more like fencing) Graceful kind of combat form, and Glendon said it's also onehanded combat. Form III Soresu The most defensive kind of combat form, keeping your lightsaber close to yourself. Form IV Ataru Acrobatic form, emphasizing agility. This technique mainly involves the Force to perform some of the maneuvers. Form V Djem So (Max excels in this form) Takes some of the defensive powers from Form III and channels them to offensive powers, i.e. darn offensive. Form VI Niman Jack of all trades. Very well rounded, but does not excel anywhere. Also known as Diplomatic form. Form VII Vapaad Channeling your dark side into light. ___________________________________________________________________

Ah well...looks like Golden Compass isn't as spectacular as I'd expected. They cut out so many scenes from the book that I'm not even sure I'm watching the correct movie.
Fine. Granted the fighting scenes were great. Fine. Granted Nicole Kidman's sex appeal is of a superb quality. Fine. Granted that the acting was quite cool. Fine. Granted that the daemons are like totally cool. Fine. Granted that Iorek Bryinson is damn awesome.
But does that warrant scenes to be cut from the book in the movie?!
Nevertheless, you have to admit, it's pretty cool.
Ah...I'm over-reacting.

So, I did a blogthing...sigh...all we do just to keep a barely alive blog sane.
You're Totally Sarcastic | You sarcastic? Never! You're as sweet as a baby bunny. Seriously, though, you have a sharp tongue - and you aren't afraid to use it. And if people are too wimpy to deal with your attitutde, then too bad. So sad. |
And oh yes, we broke into the semis. Next we need to find a way to win, and hopefully we'll get a debate room, though I on't see why we can't now, seeing that we have so many empty/music rooms in SALT Centre. Dammit.
I'm so bored. And I don't want to read Chinese. Not to mention, 我猜 is so bloody boring, and no Cable. None at all. I hate stupid shows like Panic Room ('cos they freak the shit outta me) and Channel 8's degrading into nothing but a pile of pointless Chinese garble. Arts...wait. it's Vasantham (I actually turned to that Channel just to type the name out...how pathetic) Central is something you most probably you won't understand, unless you take uh...Tamil.
Tamil Nadu.
Hah. Time to go stone in front of the TV. See you.
